It’s time for us to start our search for that great person to help us manage our blueberry harvest!
We are looking for an energetic, independent individual with excellent communication skills to help manage harvest on our certified organic blueberry farm during the 2019 harvest season (May-August). This is a seasonal full time position. It is an excellent summer job for college students or new grads, so pass this along to your friends and family!
We require a commitment of 7-8 weeks minimum for the duration of the harvest season, and have limited work before and after harvest. This position involves helping to manage the harvest crew, quality control and logistics, driving a 2 ton truck and loading & offloading pallets. Typical work days are 5:30 am to late afternoon, 5-6 days a week for the harvest; weather conditions range from cool mornings to hot afternoons – ability to work outdoors in these conditions is a must. Farm experience and Spanish language skills are helpful. A valid driver’s license is required; no children or pets. Housing may be available. The farm is remotely located, and limited transportation to town is provided.
